What?????
Just typing those words makes me nauseated. I’ve heard the grumblings & I just want to sit down and share a cup of coffee (with lots of cream, rich flavoring, & in a beautiful cup:) to discuss God’s heart for your life & how what your picture-perfect life looks like.
The moments that makeup life are not always welcomed and enjoyed. I’ve heard social media criticize those displaying the “perfect picture” moments. It seems those post can stir up unrealistic images where others believe your life is perfect and theirs isn’t. Right?! Like it can’t be real and the picture-perfect, let’s call it the “PP”, post is discredited because it’s not the common picture of the average Jo. I got news for the PP haters! God is the definition of picture-perfect! Adjust your focus to His or miss perfection in life!
So let’s be clear…. as a lover of the Lord Jesus our lives are to represent God’s goodness! In sickness and in health, in the struggle and the dance, regardless of the circumstances we are to shine bright for God’s glory. It’s not reflected in the average because the average Christian’s life looks average.
In the difficult and disappointing days, it’s alright to cry. Trouble comes to the average Christian & the passionate lover of Jesus. Crying and mourning is a response from both the average & the passionate.
When dreams die and devastating blows hit there’s no denying the pain. Here’s the defining difference tho…
Confidence for the passionate is sure!
Victory is present in our life, our thoughts, our words…. and our posts!
Defeat & fear for the average is certain
because what you give your attention to & what’s being fed.
So the average heart, mind & life has to give way to defeat & fear.
Can those times take everyone’s heads underwater? Well, sometimes they do me😳.
There are moments when the wind has been knocked out of me and I find myself wide-eyed and frozen. What I realize very quickly is that what I have fed and given my attention to takes over…
HE, my Papa God, keeps me in perfect (yep, there’s that word🎁) when I keep my thoughts fixed on Him (Isaiah 26:3) So the passionate lover of Jesus finds themself keeping their thoughts fixed while the average does for a time and then doesn’t.
So let me get to it! Let’s turn to God’s heart for your life!
It’s indescribably incredible, abundant & unbelievable!
He wants ALL of us to experience such a life and shine it so brightly that
others see Him and long to know Him!
Let this get ahold of your thoughts and take root in your heart!
Just so you know, I can Him Papa God cause when I do He is so close & personal to me I find it impossible to look away…
Look closely with me as He speaks directly to you…
HE, my Papa God, raised us, me and you, from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6&7)
Come on! Do you see it? It may look & feel like we can’t breathe and we’re not going to make it but those who are passionately loving & living for Jesus we need to know that we are:
>Raised from the dead!
>With Christ!
>Sitting with Papa God
>United/joined together/of common purpose as Christ Jesus
SO THAT GOD CAN POINT TO US….
>Now & for future ages
>Display our lives as examples
>Examples of incredible wealth
>Examples of the incredible wealth of His grace
> Examples of the incredible wealth of His kindness towards us
>Example of all He has done for us who are united/joined together/of common purpose as Christ!
Because He wants our life to reflect Him, His goodness & kindness, His faithfulness & mercy, His miraculous & abundance He fills us so that our lives are incredible!
Picture Perfect!
In sickness & in health!
In wealth & in want!
His mercies are new every morning and our lives are designed to shine so others will see Him and come to know Him.
So let’s look at one another through God’s eyes, with His heart and discover beauty & blessing beyond ourselves.
Let’s learn & laugh together as He teaches us LifeLessons that transform our ordinary to eXtraordinary! Our perfect life is a reality because we live it for God’s pleasure by the power of His Spirit that lives in us! For the Christian, there is no life-sucking mentality that can stay! There are eyes to see God at work in it all so that our lives are picture-perfect.
For those who are critical and doubt, life will be a struggle as you see the life of the passionate judgment and criticism rise up. You’ll resist the passionate because there is a stronghold. You’ll long for more and find yourself dissatisfied more & more. Your thoughts may track like this… Life sucks and being a Christian doesn’t change that. It is what it is. Nothings going to change.
What I hope & pray is that each one of us the passionate who are pressed into living a life for God’s pleasure experience refreshing empowering longing for even more. For the average, I beg you to put average behind you and step into an intimate passionate love relationship with Jesus! For I know what He has done for me He will do for you! He’ll forgive, restore, bless & favor you. He’s brought you here to see what a picture-perfect life looks like & how He wants to “point to you as a testimony” of His indescribable goodness!
