I woke disappointed when I thought about the day ahead.
The more I think about it the more I realize how easy it is to be disappointed.
One could resolve to have zero expectations in hopes of not being disappointed, but the mind still loops back to think on what coulda, shoulda, and woulda if only…
Picture perfect life? What?? Really? Life is hard and it sucks. It is what it is! I don’t care if you are a Christian… When sickness & pain, dreams die and devastating blows hit there’s no denying they are real and no fun! But there’s a defining difference that separates and reveals the average from the picture-perfect. Let’s take a closer look.
