I woke disappointed when I thought about the day ahead.
The more I think about it the more I realize how easy it is to be disappointed.
One could resolve to have zero expectations in hopes of not being disappointed, but the mind still loops back to think on what coulda, shoulda, and woulda if only…

Does that describe you? If you’re like me sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. I find myself dissatisfied when I’m tired, & feeling anxious. When my expectations aren’t met I am faced with the challenge to call my feelings in line with what I know deep down in my soul.
There is a battle for your heart, your love & affection,
your time & attention.
My little girl heart was always searching for someone who would love me forever, never leave me, and would fight for me EVEN though I was so broken, and felt unworthy of love or attention.
How can it be?
Can you know peace in the conflict?
Can you have passion when you’ve been beaten & hurt & feel numb or dead?
